Allen Early Childhood PTA General Guidelines

Please take a moment to review the guidelines below, and let us know your approval if you’d like to participate.

2025-2026 General Guidelines

All events will be optional and open to all current AECPTA members throughout the year.

Dates and times of events will be posted on Spaces by WIX. Advanced RSVPs are required due to size limitations. If you are unable to attend a playdate, an updated RSVP is appreciated.

When a playgroup is hosted at a member’s home, the host will limit the number of RSVPs they feel comfortable welcoming (this includes both adults and children). Siblings are welcome too just be sure to check the host’s event details for specifics.

Breastfeeding is fully supported by the AECPTA.

Everyone should plan to bring their own drinks and snacks, unless the host (or another member) offers to share.

Members will NOT attend if ANYONE in their household is sick. Sickness is defined as: coughing; fever (100.4 or higher), diarrhea or vomiting within the last 24 hours; cloudy or green nasal drainage; pink eye; unexplained rash or any other symptoms commonly associated with contagious diseases.

As always, members must agree to take responsibility for disciplining their child. Ongoing disruptive behaviors such as hitting, kicking, or biting are not allowed. Families may be asked to step back from activities until the behavior is addressed.

I agree to inform our VP of Membership, or any board member I am comfortable with, if my child is unvaccinated or on a delayed schedule. I understand information may be given to members upon request.
