FIRST-TIME MOMS
Finding Your Village
The AECPTA sees a need to support first-time mothers, and we are thrilled to launch the first session of this program.
Our goal is to create a strong, local support system for new mothers. For many women, becoming a mom is the greatest transition period of their lives. It can be full of joy, but also scary and lonely at times. This program aims to bring together first-time mothers with babies under six-months. Weekly speakers and discussion topics will educate moms on relevant topics and answer questions in a safe environment. Above all, we want moms to feel a sense of community, build friendships, and know they have a village to support them.
**The size of the group will be limited, so please register today! Moms do not have to be members of AECPTA or live in Allen to participate. Email us with any questions at FTM@aecpta.com.**
Dates & Location
Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and the postponement of school in AISD and surrounding school districts, we have decided to postpone the start of this program.
As new information becomes available, we will reassess our timeline and update participants who have registered by email.
We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment, but feel it is imperative to embrace current health guidelines and limit potential exposure/spread.
